[She wore him out, that's for sure and he loved every minute of it. Mako is incredible, the best wife that he could ask for, and there are not enough words in the English, or any other language for how much he enjoyed last night. And he would know, being fluent in a handful of them and still the most he can manage when she smacks him awake is a groan muffled into his pillow.
It takes him a couple minutes to follow her down, since he had to search out another shirt (and maybe she didn't totally wear him out because something stirs in his gut when he realizes she took it) and his boxers (which she got a little enthusiastic with getting off him). But he's coming (ha ha ha), bedhead and all, wandering into the kitchen to the sight of Mako starting breakfast in just his shirt and her underwear.]
[ Mako hums in answer, disheveled and still half-awake when Raleigh comes down for breakfast; she's busy contemplating the option of sleep after breakfast and leaving Raleigh with the kids, because she's so tired and she needs the rest, right? Raleigh's usually the energizer bunny, not her anyway.
He catches her eye, with his bedhead and his shirt and boxers and it's impossible for anyone else to look this good in the morning, it just is. Still, Raleigh carries it off with aplomb, and she hands the grapefruits over for him to cut into for juice. ]
I feel like death warmed over. Next time remind me why making you go more than twice is a bad idea.
[Look at her, putting him to work already. After it was her idea to keep going, to the point where he basically had to plead for mercy, take mercy on him, he's getting old and he's exhausted and he loves her, oh my God does he love her but he's not eighteen anymore.
He makes a valiant effort at it, sometimes and she inspires him a lot but he's still not.
He takes the grapefruits from her, trading them for a kiss. He might not be eighteen but he still can kiss his wife good morning.]
Poor Mako. [He's not going to do that, he never learns.] I had a lot of fun though.
[ She smiles and she loves it, the mornings where he kisses her and it's the sweetest, most wonderful start to her day. Imagine that, they've been married for awhile and yet it still makes her heart flutter when he kisses her good morning.
Mako takes out the bacon, too, because she knows how Raleigh practically inhales those things; and frankly, she's going to love him no matter how old he is. ]
So did I. [ Her smile is mischievous. ] You were very good.
[ Mako refuses to be ashamed! It's not her fault that Raleigh's shirt is soft and comfortable. She's smiling before she puts strips of bacon on a hot, hot pan, watching it sizzle.
Meanwhile, though, smirks back, a hand on her hip. ] Don't tell me you don't like the view I'm giving you right now.
[Raleigh holds his hands up like a surrender. Because in three... two... one... there's the sound of an opening door upstairs and the little pitter patter of feet and guess what ginger monster is awake too.]
[ Mako laughs, leaning over to scoop Sophia up as she puts the spatula aside. And oh, what perfect morning is this, that their little girl is already awake so early? ]
Oh, is it? [ Mako asks, giving her a kiss on the cheek before setting her onto the chair. ] Mommy forgets sometimes.
[She probably hasn't been sleeping all night, that's why she's awake all night. Because she has dirty perverts for parents and Raleigh is loud. He finishes cutting up the grapefruit, putting a couple slices in front of Sophia to play with and munch on while the rest of breakfast is finished.]

So good you forgot pants? And what shirt belongs to you?

But think of the babies.

Mommy steals from Daddy.
[Mommy, you're not supposed to steal. It's mean.]
