No, she really is -- but a part of her is invested in this, in him. She's a liar and a killer, but a part of her doesn't want him to know it; wants him to keep seeing her as what she allows him to see. ]

[Raleigh wraps an arm around her waist when she comes in close enough, holding her there and maybe trying to nudge her to come sit on his lap. They can share the toast, feed it to each other, you know.
She makes him disgustingly domestic, she really does, just by being around.]

[ She can say the same for him, because there she is, sidling to settle on his lap. What can she say, really? His lap is a nice, comfortable place for her and she likes the effect he has on her. ]
It's only toast, bacon and eggs.
[ Mako smiles despite herself, settling into his arms and plucking the toast from his plate. ]
[She stole his toast! She can't tease him. Raleigh nudges her head with his for a moment before he turns back for the bacon. Keep the toast then. Bacon's better.]
Alright, I like everything. But you don't have to make me dinner all the time.
[ she totally can! Mako settles into nibbling at her toast before she tilts her head at him curiously. She hadn't considered that, but now that he's mentioned it -- ]
