[Raleigh thinks that he's a pretty patient and fair guy, has a pretty high tolerance for anything that Mako does because he's hard pressed to name a single flaw of hers, much less find them irritating. Sure, she steals the blankets every night but he just worms his way back in there, whether she likes it or not. He gets it, that her work is super important to her and to thousands of people but this isn't rebuilding Gipsy. She's helping to rebuild the world, yes, but it's going faster than anyone anticipated under her control and she's not alone anymore.

Raleigh leans into her side, they're on the couch and he was watching TV while she has her papers in her lap but now he's focusing his attention on toying with the silver chain of her dog tags.]

Tonight, however, she's far too preoccupied with her blueprints to pay much attention to him, even if his desire sparks in the back of her mind. She's making markings, barely looking up even when a part of her attention's caught at the way he's toying with her dog tags. ]

[ Mako makes a noise and instinctively moves over to want to pick it up, because what are you doing, Raleigh? But then he's tugging her back by her dog tags and for some reason, she finds that inexplicably sexy.
He's in an insistent, randy mood tonight, and Mako lets herself be pulled, her attention shifting to him -- it's rare that he's so aggressive, and a part of her really likes it. Mako sits up, takes notice, startled but pleased. ]
[It's good that she gives up on the highlighter because he definitely would've tackled her to the floor if she kept reaching for it. That's a good way to get her attention, right? But apparently so is tugging on her dog tags, because she's finally looking at him and Raleigh's smiling at her when she does.

[ No chance, flyboy. Those papers are staying where they are! (Probably.) But then Raleigh is beaming at her, boyish and sweet, and some part of her yields even before she knows it.
Leaning closer, she tugs him towards her by his shirt, loosening her hold on the papers. ]
Now you have my full attention. How do you predict it's going to go?
Raleigh doesn't let go of the chain around her neck, using his grip on it to pull her in the rest of the way, so his lips brush against hers but he doesn't kiss her. Not yet.]
Oh, did you want me to set them aside? [ Mako teases, and it makes her toes curl when he teases her like that, a kiss that's not quite a kiss, and she can't help but want more, leaning forward almost instinctively. ]

[That's really what he's going to do. She moves forward and he leans back just as much, lingering close to her but refusing to kiss her until the papers are on the floor with the highlighter.]
[ Mako makes a soft noise, pursuing him until she can't, and is forced to make a choice: dump the papers so she can crawl on his lap, or reach a stalemate? [ Mako wasn't born yesterday, you silly boy. But she's smiling and keeping him trapped with her. Crawling onto his lap and settling there, she loves the way he wraps his arms around her waist, and decides to push her advantage. Work is done for the night; that much is obvious. ]
[Raleigh hums under his breath, shaking his head softly. No, he will not take her to bed-- purely because that's what she asked and there's been enough of Mako calling the shots lately. She doesn't get to do that anymore tonight.
He dips his head down to her jaw, kissing that while still avoiding her mouth.]
[ It makes her tingle when you take control, Mr. Becket. Mako whines when it's obvious that she's not getting her way -- as always, but she's intrigued, nosing against him because she wants kisses, Raleigh! Kisses. ]
Yeah. [He agrees simply, ignoring the way she's nuzzling him in favor of cupping the back of her neck with his hand, making her stay still because he wants to kiss her neck right now. And so he's going to.]
[ Oh! Mako starts, surprised but delighted and more than just a little bit aroused -- yes, you have her full attention right now, Mr. Becket. She's still as a kitten, and she regards him curiously. ]

[Smiling just a little against her neck, because he can just tell when her interest is completely and totally on him and it really didn't take as long to distract her from her work as he thought it might. Raleigh brushes his teeth along her skin, lightly, still teasing.]
